Established in 1909 as village butcher’s shop in the Appenzell region, Ernst Sutter AG ranks among the leading meat products manufacturers in Switzerland with its more or less 1000 employees. They sell dry-cured beef from the Grisons under the private label Suttero. Before the product finds its way from the experts to the connoisseurs and gourmets, the meat dries and matures at the own natural dry-curing facilities Sulai in Churwalden in the Grisons mountain air.
